There’s no question that Coldwell Banker United is customer service-oriented as far the added-value, one-stop shopping it provides for its customers, not to mention an array of exclusive services that are second to none, i.e. Home Buyer/Seller Guarantees, Lead Router technology, Coldwell Banker Mortgage, Access Title, etc.  BUT the level of service and support offered to their agency force is equally EXCEPTIONAL!  And it begins with the training program offered by the dynamic duo of Janice Lambert and Gayle Edleman!  The Fast Start and Success Center training programs raise the level of our workforce because it sets the standard for what is expected behind the transaction!  I’m a big advocate for “time is money,” and the rate of return for my money invested in this training far exceeded what I had anticipated.

If you are undecided about which brokerage firm to join and training is important to you, I would encourage you to seriously consider Coldwell Banker United, Realtors.  As a recent graduate (Nov. '07) of both Fast Start and Success Center, I can assure anyone that the training program and staff are excellent.  In real estate school, you learned what NOT to do.  Now, Janice Lambert-Chretien will tell you what you SHOULD do in Fast Start...In fact, she will tell you so much in 12 days that you may begin to wonder if you can remember it all.  By some strange magic, when you get to Success Center, Gayle Edleman will miraculously help you remember it all and put it into practice.  Janice and Gayle have very different teaching styles, which somehow manage to compliment each other very nicely. They are both wonderful instructors and really excellent at what they do, besides just being awesome people. I enjoyed the small class atmosphere and made many friends along the way.  The support you receive from Janice, Gayle and your fellow agents is amazing, both during and after training.  It does take an investment of your time, but the knowledge you'll leave with is well worth it. You will graduate ready to make Real Estate history! Also, it was lots of fun.....LOTS!!

I cannot imagine starting a career in real estate without the help I have received from the people at Coldwell Banker.    Any program, training or otherwise, is only as good as the people who deliver it.  Gayle and Janice delivered practical, usable information and skills.   It was a LOT of information in a short period of time, taught by two ladies, who knew the material because they had used it and were able to communicate it clearly, with an amazing display of patience. 

I already told Gayle when Success Center came to an end that the expression, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care” best described the training, because it was extensive, exhaustive sometimes, but always reflective of one person’s desire for the success of another (teacher for student).  That kind of caring doesn’t come from a program or a company—It only comes from people--people like Gayle and Janice.

I know now why I was told that Coldwell Banker had the best training in the industry.  We all have the same information and skills to be learned, but we don’t have the same people to teach it.

The comprehensive training that I received through Fast Start and Success Center enabled me to work with both buyers and sellers with the confidence that I never would have had otherwise as a new agent.  I was able to make listing presentations without apologizing for my lack of experience, but rather, talking with confidence about my ability to deliver superior, state-of-the-art service.  Likewise, working with buyers, I was never at a loss because of my "rookie" status, because I had been given such excellent training and tools to use in the field, right out of my training in Fast Start and Success Center, and I always knew that Janice and Gayle were either a phone call or email away if I ever had any questions that came up with a client or a situation that had me baffled.  Also, the continuing education classes that they offer at Success Center have been a real godsend to me, and I have tried to take advantage of them as much as possible, particularly in the area of technology.  I don't know how first and second year Realtors manage without this kind of training.  It makes all the difference in jump-starting your career and giving you the confidence you need to meet the competition, which is fierce.

"Coldwell Banker United Fast Start and Success Center training is truly excellent! I interviewed with 7 different offices within 5 brokerages. Coldwell Banker, United had the support, structure and professionalism I was looking for. Most of all, they had the training. The best analogy I can make for both programs is like a 4 week NFL preseason camp; the first two weeks are intensive, broad and demanding. Janice helps you learn so much and teaches you to apply that knowledge as soon as you learn it. This is Fast Start.

The next two weeks of football camp are at a slower pace with more reviewing of game tape and evaluation. This allows for more time on the game field, honing your skills and gaining invaluable experience.
